Parish Rates Assembly

Meeting to be held at 7.00pm on Wednesday, 29 November 2023 at Grouville Parish Church

An Assembly of the Principals and Electors of the Parish will be held in the Parish Church on Wednesday, 29 November 2023 at 7.00pm to conduct the following business: –

1. Apologies.
2. To receive and if deemed advisable, approve the minutes of the Parish Assembly held on 4 October 2023.
3. To receive and if deemed advisable, approve and adopt the audited accounts of the Connétable for the financial year ended 30 April 2023. The said accounts having been previously verified by a firm of Chartered Accountants and examined by the Committee named for that purpose.
4. To place at the disposal of the Roads Committee the amount required for the upkeep and maintenance of the byroads for the financial year ending 30 April 2024.
5. To present, and the Assembly to approve, the Estimates (budget) of the Parish of Grouville for the financial year ending 30 April 2024.
6. To approve a Parish Rate for the financial year ending 30 April 2024.
7. To elect a Committee to examine the Connétable’s accounts for the financial year ending 30 April 2024.
8. To appoint a firm of Chartered Accountants to audit the Connétable’s accounts for the financial year ending 30 April 2024.

The minutes of the previous Parish Assembly are available at the Parish Hall and at Grouville.je.  The accounts and estimates will be available midday at the Parish Hall on Thursday, 23 November, 2023 and will be uploaded on the website the same day.  Alternatively, please contact the Parish’s Customer Services Team who will be happy to email you a copy of the accounts and estimates from 23 November, 2023.
