Public Notice to Grouville Ratepayers

It has come to our attention that some ratepayers in Grouville may be under the impression that they have been charged twice for their 2025 rates. We would like to clarify that this is not the case.

Due to the delayed setting of the 2024 rates, Rate Demands for the year 2024 were not issued until December 2024. Given the standard three-month payment period, many payments for the 2024 rates extended into 2025. This overlap appears to have caused some confusion, especially with the issuance of the 2025 Rates Demands earlier this month.

Please be assured that any payments made at the beginning of this year were for 2024 rates, and the Rate Demands sent recently are for 2025.
