WEATHER WARNING
Weather warning: Potential flooding alert
Jersey Met are forecasting more unsettled, wet and windy weather tomorrow (Thursday 4 January) with a period of potentially prolonged and rather heavy rainfall from early morning to early afternoon.
A small low-pressure system will be moving across the Channel Islands and the exact track of this will determine the amount of rainfall.
It’s difficult to predict exactly how much rain will fall and where, but colleagues across the Government of Jersey and partner agencies are monitoring the situation and liaising with the Jersey Met Office.
At this stage, please remain aware of the weather forecast and any further advice issued from the Government of Jersey.
If you live in an area prone to flooding it would be prudent to prepare in case of potential flooding. Further information is available online via the Government’s flooding advice pages here: Flooding: how to prepare, cope and clean up (gov.je)
